Aparshakti Khurana on being misconstrued for his Stree 2 statements

The Stree 2 actor on being asked if statements are misconstrued says , “It really gets misconstructed and honestly, I was taking everyone together. It’s funny that the narrative is the other way around. But having said that, I really don’t want to deep dive into this because I’ll really get emotional and break down. (Rahul) Bose knows this. I’ve spoken about it, I’ve had sleepless nights. I never thought that this would be something I would be blamed for.”

He continued, “And people who know me, know that I can take a bullet in the chest in the middle of the night for my team, for my people, for my co-actors, for my writers, for my directors and each and every person on that set. From a light man to the spot boy – who comes from the production team not my team the production team, that’s why I don’t want to deep dive.”

Slamming the media for keeping the conversation alive, Rahul added, “If he has anything to say, I know how he would do it. He would come straight out on his millions and millions of followers. (Turning to Aparshakti) Wouldn’t you?”. To this the Stree 2 actor added, “I chose not to (comment on it).”
